Somewhere, Celeste Stirling was and is in fact - not her biological name. Unfortunately for this freak of human nature, Celeste was selected to guide a group of other life forms through the universe through the use of her gift for star navigation. During her trip however, the ship was attacked and broke down in the middle of a meteor shower, and the last thing she could recall were herself and other subordinates were gravitating into a black hole. When she came to, she found herself in the world of Tomodachi Island. Confused and distraught, she now spends most of her time trying to make out this world's sky for a sign back home. [attr="class","rcappleft2"] [attr="class","rcappleft3"] [attr="class","rcappleft4"] [attr="class","rcapplefttitle"]CHARACTER ABILITIES [attr="class","rcappleft51"] Hex-TechCeleste is capable of producing thin, translucent, glass-like plates in the air before her at her fingertips. Whereas these plates can act as a wireless projector and are capable of displaying their own images, they are also capable of absorbing what would be magical attacks directed towards her. These plates have multiple uses, ranging from data-management and collecting to offensive attacks or defensive and supportive positions. [break] Extensive MemoryBeing an advanced life-form in who`s technology far surpasses a human`s, Celeste retains an extensive memory and is very much knowledgeable in nearly everything she has read about or learned about. She can recall events and conversations to the T, however this does not mean that she isn`t able to forget the tiniest of details. When too much information is stored, Celeste struggles to recall on the spot and will often have to `search` through her memory with her Hex-Tech. [break] AdaptionThe appearance that Celeste currently takes is in fact not her true appearance; her race is actually full of blob and slime-shaped figures with no definite features. However, the elastic body allows her to mould and shape the way she would like, so long as she has some sort of reference. Upon arriving to Tomodachi Island, she took the form of something that would serve as the most prominent, and naturally had the highest chance of fitting in and survival; a human. In fact, you didn't know how you came into existence. Your earliest memories were as a blob of purple goop, however that was apparently the norm around and about. Though you had no notable organs and the like, you found that your species had odd abilities that resembled a very, high and advanced form of technology. Of course, you, too, found that you were capable of using this oddity. However eventually, as you aged, you were able to grow accustomed to this world. This world that had yet to be discovered, the world that relied on the stars to guide them to safety. [break][break] Your parents were much like you; blobs. All you knew to do with your life was to work, work and work. Occasionally you would hang around with friends, but otherwise your race saw no reason to be spending the majority of their time indoors when they could be going out and doing actual work. To say that you lived a relatively normal childhood under your circumstances would be accurate, hence why you spent so much time learning more about what you could do, and watched what others could do. [break][break] We’ve walked through every seasonAnd then you looked up at the sky, finding the stars that everyone in your world despised. They viewed the stars as something that could suck them in - something that could burn their cold and dark world. However, you were always staring at their soft and glimmering lights. You were always staring, you were always connecting. You were connecting what you knew, and you were connecting what the stars showed you. Eventually, you had taught yourself to map with the stars - simply by looking at the sky of your dark, dark world. [break][break] Your family on the other hand didn't take lightly to your mapping of the stars, and deemed it to be unnecessary with the vast technology, knowledge and memory that your species had. The best was you could describe any of them in human terms..? Artificial intelligence with the ability to feel emotions and the like. However even then, you continued to map out all the stars in your world and galaxy - with high hopes that perhaps you could leave your planet with the other astronauts. [break][break] You are the star in my eyesUnfortunately, your "friends" at school didn't take lightly to your reading up in stars. They often pushed you around, making you drop your books and at one point, they had even ripped up your star map. Frankly, you even found it even the slightest bit terrifying. Soon enough, with enough name calling and discouragement, you chose no longer to show your face in the presence of others. You spent the majority of your time shut in as you built your own telescope within the library, only to stash and hide it away as everyone else was wandering around and about. You continued to do your own thing, alone. In your own isolation.. Up until someone found you.[break][break] You were terrified. Initially, you hadn't the slightest clue of what they wanted. You were defensive, you were being hostile and cruel - perhaps from the anxiety you had pent up after all these years of being looked down upon. However fortunately, the man who found you seemed to take interest in your star mapping - and from there, a friendship flourished. [break][break] Even your existence takes the burden off my mindBut you don't remember when you started, and you don't remember when it stopped - or if it ever stopped. You found out that he would be joining the astronauts; a young man around your age who seemed just as passionate as you were, who had opened your eyes to the world and space around you. The man who accepted you for your interest, and took the time to cheer you up when literally the entire world was against your wishes and inspirations. It took a while, and then you figured it out; you were in love with him. you loved him more than you could even imagine; you just wanted to be around him. Just knowing that he was around made you happy - it made you strive to become an astronaut even more, just so that you'd be able to go with him.[break][break] So you studied. You studied as much as you could in your later years. You did all you could to learn about star mapping, laughing at every time you two exchanged conversations, looking forwards to your meetings under the stellar twilight.. Everything. You loved everything about that night, you loved everything about him. But you don't know when you started, and up to this day.. You don't remember if you could ever stop. [break][break] Don’t make this an illusionThen you grew up. You were recognize for your academic prowess, and eventually you actually did join the astronauts. This went.. Far better than you could ever imagine. Your family was proud of you, and the few friends you had congratulated you with smiles on their faces. It would appear as though they accepted you de to the fact that you showed promise on your stellar navigation abilities, hence putting their trust into this young newcomer. From there, you worked under that old friend of yours and you couldn't help but to be giddy over it. In the group that you were put in with him.. Everyone knew that the two of you had a thing for the other. Everyone knew about your little relationship, and everyone knew that you were both far too nervous to admit it.[break][break] ... But then it all went spiralling downwards. You were on a mission; you were to find this strange disturbance in the fabric of space. An odd entity - a black hole - and enter it. There were theories flying around and about, with what may have been at the other side. With their trust in you to have the stars guide the group, you all found the black hole rather quickly. Unfortunately, it appeared as though everyone underestimated the pull of gravity around it. You were all being sucked in, and there was nothing you could do about it. On that day, you all lost connection back to your home; none of the technology worked, and not even your combined hex-tech could face the wrath of this black entity. [break][break] I want to stay by your side... Then you woke up. You were no longer in the ship, and you were no longer in a blackhole. You found yourself in the middle of.. Somewhere. You were confused, disturbed even, until you frantically began searching around for the rest of your crew members. The last thing you could recall was the crying of your name, the sudden shaking and magnitude of the rocking ship that.. Ah.. That's right. A broken pole from the confusion.. It had killed him.He died before your eyes, and you could only let that register before you, yourself, blacked out. [break][break] And from there, you found yourself at Tomodachi Island. However the other creatures seemed to look at you.. Oddly. In attempts to fit in and raise the chances of your obtaining the help you needed, you shifted to take the form of a young, purple haired woman. you gave yourself a name, and a surname before actually learning the language of the beings whom walked on this odd, odd island. And though you may have learned to live here, you will never stop trying to go back home. It's been three years since the incident.. Three years since he had died, and you're still mourning.
